The idyllic location of ERINACEUS Estate on Kina Peninsula

The Peninsula, tucked into the curve of the glittering Tasman Bay, enjoys a warm, sheltered climate. It is recognised for its stunning and varied – many say Tuscan – landscape, low traffic and open spaces. This together with  a long beach, beautiful tidal inlet and sightings of dolphins and orca, ensure ist quality as a very special unique location.

Villa Paradise

This very attractive modern villa is set on a hillside at KINA Peninsula, an unspoilt, rural area in direct vicinity of Abel Tasman National park, 30 min from the airport in NELSON. The property has got 400 m of beach frontage. From all around the house and its front terrace there are wonderful views over the olive orchard to the sea and inlet of Motueka. Even the Mount Arthur range, often snow capped, can be viewed all at once.

This is a particularly quiet and peaceful property, surrounded by grounds of 10 hectares on several levels, with the olive orchard, fruit trees, an herb garden and mature pines along the beach.

Home Orchard

Enjoy the bountiful harvest from your very own home orchard – enjoy yourself, preserve for the winter months, or give to friends and family. Situated close to the house, the orchard boasts a rich variety of fruit, including plums, pears, apples, quince, persimmons and citrus.

Outdoor Rooms

A series of thoughtfully-designed outdoor ‘rooms’ have been created on the terraces leading down from the heli-pad. Hedging and careful planting define these garden areas. They are located close to the home, and provide alternative sheltered outdoor living areas on breezy days.

These gardern ‘rooms’ provide a luxuriously formal, yet rural feel to this park-like property, and they have been developed with ever-increasing privacy and shelter in mind as they continue to mature.

Native Plantation

Substantial developing native plantings curve around the base of the steepest part of the property, leaving the topmost field a grassy meadow. These natives will provide further shelter and privacy for the home below as they continue to mature.
